What happens in a class?
The classes will be aimed at people with a broad range of movement abilities, backgrounds and bodies. Completely curious beginners as well as trained dancers are welcome.
The aim of the classes is to make participants feel more fully engaged with their bodies, with their minds and with each other. It will be a fun and safe place to explore motion, dance, touch and your imagination. It can be used as a process for finding new movement ideas, opening yourself up creatively, gaining confidence in your body or purely as enjoyment.
Each teacher will have their individual approach. Fundamental skills such as sharing weight, rolling, lifting and falling will be taught. You may work on your own, with a partner or in a group within specific exercises.
