DESCRIPTION:\nPractice and Romanticism in CI\nWith Angela Dony (Andjela Don
 i)\n28 – 31 May\, 10am – 5pm daily\nAngela Dony is a dance improviser\
 , choreographer and a teacher oriented to contact improvisation and contem
 porary dance. She was born in Kishinev\, Moldavia. She was educated at the
  High School of Culture\, St-Petersburg. After graduation in 1985\, she wa
 s a theatrical choreographer for 10 Years. Since 1999 she is living in Mos
 cow\, and teaching Contact Improvisation\, Improvisation and Movement Deve
 lopment.\nSince September 2006 she has been the organizer and leader of a 
 project of research\, experiment and exchange which aims to support and de
 velop the teaching and performance of Contact Improvisation and Improvisat
 ion in Moscow. She organises the yearly\, nine day\, International Contact
  Improvisation and Performance Festival in Moscow which includes an improv
 isational performance night in a central Moscow Theater.\nPractice and Rom
 anticism in CI\nWhen I teach I offer only those things which I know how to
  dance and love to dance. Observing my dance I discover my endless curiosi
 ty for spirals in movement\, and my aspiration to be light and to fly.\n\n
 \nFor me CI is a dance which can bring joy and pleasure and a discipline w
 hich develops the body. In this workshop I want to separate practical and 
 emotional sides of CI.Practice:\n\n	Movement that brings understanding of 
 how the body is  organized and how it can move.\n	Elements of contemporar
 y dance to explore pathways of Clear\, efficient movement with minimal eff
 ort.\n	Elements which came to CI from Aikido.\n	We will take time to work 
 with weight. From the small dance to lifting.\n\nRomanticism:\n\n	Techniqu
 es which help us to release\, tune into our dance\, such as bodywork\, aut
 hentic movement.\n	Images and metaphors which inspire our dancing\n	Practi
 ce of being attentive to the atmosphere in space and its weather.\n	Co-cre
 ating with a partner\n	Composition and improvisation – widening our choi
