DESCRIPTION:\n\nA new 12 week series of classes that will focus on deeper u
 nderstanding of the internal structure of the spine and its interconnectio
 n with the rest of the body.\n\nEach week will begin with a invitation to 
 slow down and drop into the body. We will use somatic approaches to learn 
 about the body through experience. From here we will continue on to specif
 ic contact improvisation skills and into dancing.\n\nClasses can be attend
 ed on a drop in basis. There is however a benefit in committing to the who
 le series\n\nWeeks 1-4 Discovering the Spine\n\nBecoming aware of the inte
 rnal structure with in us\, meeting our spine\, Embodied anatomy\, bodywor
 k into movement\, moving from and finding the articulation within each of 
 the different parts of our central skeletal axis.\n\nWeeks 5-8 Support for
  the spine\nFinding support from within\, from internal structure and syst
 em to energetic centres and nerve pathways. Looking at ways to find ease a
 nd to manage weight\, both our own and others.\n\nWeeks 9-12 Mobilising th
 e spine\nWorking with developmental movement patterns\, undulations\, spir
 als and articulation\, increasing the range of movement for the spine\, op
