2025-2026\n"The course progressed in a very supportive way. And Asher spok
e up and named things that might be causing people uncertainty or discomfo
rt\, so that scary things didn't get hidden or side-lined. That made it al
 l feel very safe....I loved Simon's playful\, dance-infused musical input!
"\nMs A.L.\n \n"It really works for me to be with a 6 month group to nurt
ure trust... I felt very welcomed and safe and really appreciated the sof
t space for rest and processing. The group check-ins also really helped me
to connect to the group and feel safe and brave.... I happily carry the
warm experiences of this course into my everyday movements and feel courag
e to enter into other CI spaces in the future.... Thank you so much to yo
u and Sarah for your compassionate\, humble\, joyful\, inclusive approach
to teaching CI.\n\n2024-2025\nSimon's incredible music [was a highlight] e
specially when he moves in the jam whilst playing..."\nD.K.\n\n"All of it
was fascinating and I really enjoy the chance to drill new patterns and pl
ay with new people.... Each month fed into the next and I noticed an impro
vement in my movement practice."\nJ.T.\n\n"Full of love for Asher and Sara
h and everyone who co-created this.... [I felt] very well looked after tha
nk you! Emotional safety and physical safety were taken seriously.... I
particularly loved layering in how you taught\, floor work\, animaling\, r
olling and islanding with each other.... The notes are great\, as I didn'
t take notes."\nM.W.\n\n"I really like your teaching style Asher\, thank y
ou.... I felt completely physically safe and supported..... It was very
useful to see Sarah and Asher demonstrate particular moves/ activities. Th
ank you.....It was really beautiful music that aided the expressiveness of
my dance.... I definitely felt more comfortable with the group as time w
ent on and by the end there was a beautiful sense of togetherness in growt
h and trust."\nR.W.\n\n"All of it was fascinating and I really enjoy the c
hance to drill new patterns and play with new people.... You make it acces
sible to everybody\, regardless of ability. I think you’re teaching is
sensitive and very fundamentally not shaming to people....\n\nI think Simo
n was a brilliant musician\, highly intuitive and really able to read the
room. I can only wholeheartedly recommend his further use in your program
because I think he is exceptional and multi talented. He is also very humb
le\, as are you and this is a very safe-making aspect."\nL.G\n\n2023-2024
\n\n“It was ideal for me\, I'll miss doing it every month (...) I fel
t increasingly more able to move in a way that felt good\, my nervous syst
em was so regulated by each of the days (….) I think this was the effect
of your approach [and] the group who I felt really comfortable with as t
he months went on. The check-in circles and group warm-ups were also reall
y helpful for reflection and feeling safe within the group.” \n\n“Ins
pirational teaching in a supportive environment….I felt that the group d
ynamic developed really well.”\n\n“It was good\, I’d do it again. Li
ked the format\, liked the facilitator\, liked the music and the musician.
”\n\n“It was really nice to grow a trust in the group.” \n\nClick h

nsives\, during the past year.\n\n\n\nAsher Levin\n\nis based in Dartingto
n and loves being and interacting with the land and elements. He’s been
practicing Contact Improvisation\, physical theatre\, teaching and leading
workshops for a quarter-century. He's taught CI internationally since 200
 8. In CI\, play and being\, he loves the practice of trusting ourselves an
d others - even within the unknown\, and re-seeing the known afresh for th
e first time. He loves old friends too. Being off-balance and free\, yet f
ocused and caring\, as CI invites\, is incredibly liberating and enriching
. In CI\, currently Asher is particularly interested in the interplay of s
paciousness and intimacy\, dynamic\, tenderness and finding the unusual. H
e enjoys whole group scores and the partner or trio\, within the social\,
 physical and spiritual environment.\n\n\n\nLocation\nSt Michael's Parish H
