Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive at any time for the jam. We send out regular emails of class descriptions\, to get these\, please  sign-up to our mailing list.\nClass Description\nThis class will revolv e around the technicality of dynamic support: through a gradual build-up w e'll look at how spine articulation\, relationship to the floor and moveme nt patterns support our ease and clarity of movement from horizontal to ve rtical. We'll then transfer our solo dancing to the duet exploring how the under dancer can support\, guide and keep moving and how the over dancer can use placement and reaching into space. This should make for some juicy dancing to develop into new territories.\n\n \;\n\nAnne-Gaelle Thirio t is a dancer\, performer and maker whose process is rooted in improvisati on\, composition and collaboration. Over the past 12 years she has had lon g-term collaborations with Noa Zamir\, Dirty Market Theatre\, Tara D'Arqui an and Lisa-May Thomas among others and since 2013 is part of the dance ar tists collective Exit Map. She started practicing CI in France in 2002 and has been particularly inspired by the folowing teachers: Kirstie Simson\, Didier Silhol\, Nancy Stark-Smith\, Julyen Hamilton\, KJ Holmes\, Charlie Morrissey\, Rick Nodine\, Lisa Nelson\, Simone Forti. Most recently she h as been working with Simonetta Alessandri and has travelled to Seattle to be part of GLIMPSE 3\, Nancy Stark-Smith's research project of the Undersc ore in performance.\nBlog ​ www.annegaellethiriot.tumblr.com\n\n \;\ nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You are free to danc e\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish.
