SUMMARY:Bristol CI: Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House 
 - 8 Oct 17 17:00
DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9. You can also book on MoveGB\n\nFor more information

 . We send out regular emails of class descriptions\, to get these\, please
  sign-up to our mailing list.\nClass Description\nWe will warm ourselves
  up by  starting from stillness\, moving into embodied solo improvisation
 s\, then  adding physical contact with others to find out how this influe
 nces our dance.\nWe will then explore how we can use the table position to
  support the weight of others and how we can smoothly transition in and ou
 t of this position and create fluid changes between over-dancer and under-
 dancer roles.\nFollowing this we will go back to our embodied dance to see
  how these technical explorations can nourish our improvised movement.\n\n
 The Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no teacher\, 
 but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You are free to dance
 \, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides an opportunity 
 to explore and integrate techniques you have learned\, and to find your ow
 n routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher will facilitate a score t
 o follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Underscore (developed by Nan
 cy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) jam\, this will normally
  be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign-up if you want advanc
 e notice.\n\n 	Live musicians will improvise with the dancing at many of
