DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s

  sign-up to our mailing list.\nClass Description\n\nSensing in\, Sensing
  out - the nuances of curling and uncurling in the dance\n\n"The Heart is

 his class will explore expansion and contraction in the dance with the hea
 rt as an organ of perception as a central motif. Settling into the sensing
  body\, we will begin slowly\, tracing our body's architecture\, the movem
 ent of the breath and heart - from the seeds of entering into the world\, 
 to the unfolding of the body in motion\, the point of contact with another
 ...noticing the moments of stillness and emergence\, the interplay between
  curling and uncurling and the crevices in-between...A supportive space to
  move\, connect and play - all welcome.\n\nEvelyn is a Somatic Movement Ed
 ucator and CI dancer with a passion for working with socially isolated gro
 ups. She teaches in Bristol\, Bath and Scotland and is currently engaged i
 n Somatic research.\n\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers.
  There is no teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence
 . You are free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam p
 rovides an opportunity to explore and integrate techniques you have learne
 d\, and to find your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher wi
 ll facilitate a score to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Under
 score (developed by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) j
 am\, this will normally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign
 -up if you want advance notice.\n\n 	Live musicians will improvise with
