SUMMARY:Bristol CI Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House -

DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9. You can also book on MoveGB\n\nFor more information

  sign-up to our mailing list.\nClass Description\n\n\n\n\nConversations 
 in the Gravity Field 5\n\nAttending to Attention\n\nHow does the way our a
 ttention travels in space and time shift the way we move in relationship t
 o the surroundings and to  one another? In this class we will explore the
  ongoing dialogue between different modalities to 'attend' to the present 
 moment\, and notice how it influences our impulse to move.\nAcknowledging 
 the path of our attentive state\, navigating through the map of the ‘ext
 ended’ body\, embracing the primal language of gravity as a way to re-ne

 com\n\n\n\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no
  teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You are fr
 ee to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides an o
 pportunity to explore and integrate techniques you have learned\, and to f
 ind your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher will facilitat
 e a score to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Underscore (devel
 oped by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) jam\, this wi
 ll normally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign-up if you 
 want advance notice.\n\n 	Live musicians will improvise with the dancing
