SUMMARY:Bristol CI Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House -

DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9. You can also book on MoveGB\n\nFor more information

 . We send out regular emails of class descriptions\, to get these\, please
  sign-up to our mailing list.\nClass Description\nAwakening our legs and
  pelvis to the dance\n\nLet's explore new ways to work\, play and dance th
 rough our feet and legs. Using them to lever\, direct\, move\, give weight
  to each other. When the lower limbs are active and alive\, they give grou
 nding\, and new choices about how we move together and alone. We will expl
 ore using them more like arms and hands and see how this integrates into o
 ur dances.\n\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is
  no teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You are
  free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides a
 n opportunity to explore and integrate techniques you have learned\, and t
 o find your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher will facili
 tate a score to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Underscore (de
 veloped by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) jam\, this
  will normally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign-up if y
 ou want advance notice.\n\n 	Live musicians will improvise with the danc
