Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive at any time for the jam. Geor ge Leonard once said (paraphrasing): The world and it’s heart - the danc e are made of emptiness and rhythm.\nI am going to propose that we start b y finding the flow and then the structure in our solo dance as a portal to playing with the rhythm. For example\, we will move in round and spiral w ays\, engaging the felt sense before we engage more of the the body mind t o direct and shape our movement in a focused and creative way.\nThis will lead us to a group dance improvisation where both aspect of the explored q uality are coming together to enrich our dance vocabulary.\n\nThe Jam\nA j am is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no teacher\, but space an d time to develop skills and confidence. You are free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish.
