SUMMARY:Bristol CI Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House -

DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9. You can also book on MoveGB\n\nFor more information

  sign-up to our mailing list.\nClass Description\nCentering the Dance\n\
 n\n\nThis class is about keeping connection\, about trusting the body\, an
 d commitment to the dance\, in both intention and physicality. By followin
 g the body and letting the dance unfold\, trusting the intelligence inhere
 nt in your own body that is beyond cerebral.\n\nThe class will involve\, e
 lements of solo exploration\, bodywork\, movement scores as well as workin
 g in duets and trios if time permits\, all brought together playful and th
 oughtful way.\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There i
 s no teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You ar
 e free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides 
 an opportunity to explore and integrate techniques you have learned\, and 
 to find your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher will facil
 itate a score to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Underscore (d
 eveloped by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) jam\, thi
 s will normally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign-up if 
 you want advance notice.\n\n 	Live musicians will improvise with the dan
