It would be great to see some of you there\, Kathleen\n\nAb out the Underscore:\nIt is a long-form dance improvisation structure devel oped by Nancy Stark Smith. It has been evolving since 1990 and is practice d all over the globe.\nThe Underscore is a vehicle for incorporating Conta ct Improvisation into a broader arena of improvisational dance practice\; for developing greater ease dancing in spherical space - lone and with oth ers\; and for integrating kinesthetic and compositional concerns while imp rovising. It allows for a full spectrum of energetic and physical expressi ons\, embodying a range of forms and changing states.
