SUMMARY:Bristol CI Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House -
  20 Oct 13 17:30
DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5.30-6.30pm followed by 
 the jam 6.45-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to
  keep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arr
 ive at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £5\, o
 r stay for the jam\, £8.\n\nFor more information feel free to contact the

 s of class descriptions\, to get these\, please sign-up to our mailing lis
 t.\nClass Description\nWe're going to be using partner inquiry and blindfo
 lds to deepen sensory awareness. This work can be profound and lovely in i
 ts own right as it promotes a sense of timeless engagement with the world 
 of touch. It also deepens the somatic awareness required to make CI gracef
 ul\, satisfying and safe.  There should be something there for all levels
  of dancers and meditators. Tariq\n\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gatheri
 ng of dancers. There is no teacher\, but space and time to develop skills 
 and confidence. You are free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you w
 ish. The jam provides an opportunity to explore and integrate techniques y
 ou have learned\, and to find your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jam
 s a teacher will facilitate a score to follow such as a focused (silent) j
 am\, the Underscore (developed by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or 
 eyes-closed) jam\, this will normally be advertised via our regular mailou
 t – so sign-up if you want advance notice.\n\n	Live musicians will impro
 vise with the dancing at many of the jams.\n	For more information\, please
