DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9.\n\nFor more information feel free to contact the t

 st.\nClass Description\nOne Prescription for a Jam...\n"The Underscore" is
  a framework for dancing\, describing and understanding the different thin
 gs that might happen in a contact improvisation jam\, formulated by Nancy 
 Stark Smith\, one of the originators of CI. This class will be inclusive a
 nd beginner friendly\, actively exploring some of the content of the under
 score.\nThis is an all action/no sitting around underscore\,that will re c
 irculate straight into the jam\, so if you are new or unconfident with the
  concept of underscore please come from the beginning. For the confident t
 here will be a window of opportunity to join in from 6.45. Please arrive e
 nergetically in the mind of the underscore if joining late.\n\nThe Jam\nA 
 jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no teacher\, but space a
 nd time to develop skills and confidence. You are free to dance\, rest\, o
 r sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides an opportunity to explore 
 and integrate techniques you have learned\, and to find your own routes in
 to dancing.\n\nFrom the warm-up class we will move into the jam\, continui
 ng our exploration of the underscore elements in a freely improvised forma
 t.\n\nHope you can come to both\, but it is OK to come to either on its ow
