SUMMARY:Bristol CI: Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House

DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9.\n\nFor more information feel free to contact the t

  of class descriptions\, to get these\, please sign-up to our mailing li
 st.\nClass Description\nSpace Dynamics \nStarting from an internal aware
 ness of breath and of the space inside and outside our body\, we ll gradua
 lly shift our attention to the overall space\, investigating possible dial
 ogues we will play with the idea of dance as a conversation in and out of 
 contact. Moving from agreements to disagreements\, to new agreements we wi
 ll play with possible solutions investigate different ways to embody space
 .\n\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no teach
 er\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You are free to 
 dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides an opportu
 nity to explore and integrate techniques you have learned\, and to find yo
 ur own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher will facilitate a sc
 ore to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Underscore (developed b
 y Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) jam\, this will nor
 mally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign-up if you want a
 dvance notice.\n\n	Live musicians will improvise with the dancing at man
