SUMMARY:Bristol CI: Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House

DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9.\n\nFor more information feel free to contact the t

  of class descriptions\, to get these\, please sign-up to our mailing li
 st.\nClass Description\nRolling Point of Contact and Momentum\n\nBuilding 
 on the themes in the last two classes\, we will explore rolling point of C
 ontact in more detail\, playing with qualities of meeting\, how to hold an
 d play the tone between you and your partner\, so that different dance dyn
 amics can emerge. Momentum will also be explored as it is a way to investi
 gate continuous motion by finding your flow in the rolling and spiralling 
 patterns.\nThe Jam\nA jam is an informal gathering of dancers. There is no
  teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence. You are fr
 ee to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam provides an o
 pportunity to explore and integrate techniques you have learned\, and to f
 ind your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher will facilitat
 e a score to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Underscore (devel
 oped by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) jam\, this wi
 ll normally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign-up if you 
 want advance notice.\n\n	Live musicians will improvise with the dancing
