SUMMARY:Bristol CI: Sunday Class & Jam - DMAC\, (4th Floor) Hamilton House 
 - 6 Mar 16 17:00
DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5-6.30pm followed by the
  jam 6.30-8.30pm. Doors will be closed for the duration of the class to ke
 ep the focus\, so please arrive early to attend the class\, you can arrive
  at any time for the jam. Dancers can come just for the class\, £6\, or s
 tay for the jam\, £9.\n\nFor more information feel free to contact the t

  of class descriptions\, to get these\, please sign-up to our mailing li
 st.\nClass Description\nLoving the ground\nIn this class we will make frie
 nds with the ground. There will be simple solo exercises\, links to human 
 developmental patterns and partner bodywork (suitable for all levels). We 
 will practice in twos and threes\, giving and receiving weight\, opening i
 nto a CI jam to use what we have learnt. Perfect for beginners or more exp
 erienced dancers who want to revisit fundamental principles.\n\nThe Class 
 is facilitated by Sam Bloomfield. Sam is a trainee Dance Movement Psychoth
 erapist and an experienced workshop leader and bodyworker. Email with ques

  There is no teacher\, but space and time to develop skills and confidence
 . You are free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as you wish. The jam p
 rovides an opportunity to explore and integrate techniques you have learne
 d\, and to find your own routes into dancing.\n\nAt some jams a teacher wi
 ll facilitate a score to follow such as a focused (silent) jam\, the Under
 score (developed by Nancy Stark-Smith)\, or a blindfold (or eyes-closed) j
 am\, this will normally be advertised via our regular mailout – so sign
 -up if you want advance notice.\n\n	Live musicians will improvise with
