DESCRIPTION:The Body Parts Series\nA collection of contact improvisation cl
 asses exploring movement through different parts of the body\n\nIn this se
 ries we will use a variety of: body work\, hands on investigations\, somat
 ic movement\, limited scores\, body puzzle and movement biased activities 
 to develop a better understanding of fundamental CI-skills. We will look 
 at: active listening\, rolling\, pushing\, sliding\, spirals\, sharing wei
 ght\, staying mobile\, getting support form the floor\, communication thro
 ugh touch and flying through the lens of specific body parts.\n\nOpen to a
 ll levels.\n\nThis will be a good foundation for beginners\, as well as pr
 oviding space for deeper investigation for more experienced movers. Classe
 s can be attended individually\, however there will be some progression in
  the material so it is recommended to complete the course ( 8 Weeks )\n\nB

 nIn this class we will spend some time looking at the role of the legs in 
 the dance\, we will spend some time releasing tension in the legs from the
  ankles right into the hip sockets\, we will explore some configurations o
 f how the legs can facilitate effortless spirals through the body which ca
 n help us move with weight and change levels easily.
