DESCRIPTION:The Body Parts Series\nA collection of contact improvisation cl
 asses exploring movement through different parts of the body\n\nIn this se
 ries we will use a variety of: body work\, hands on investigations\, somat
 ic movement\, limited scores\, body puzzle and movement biased activities 
 to develop a better understanding of fundamental CI-skills. We will look 
 at: active listening\, rolling\, pushing\, sliding\, spirals\, sharing wei
 ght\, staying mobile\, getting support form the floor\, communication thro
 ugh touch and flying through the lens of specific body parts.\n\nOpen to a
 ll levels.\n\nThis will be a good foundation for beginners\, as well as pr
 oviding space for deeper investigation for more experienced movers. Classe
 s can be attended individually\, however there will be some progression in
  the material so it is recommended to complete the course ( 8 Weeks )\n\nB

 is class will look at the area round the heart\, the shoulder girdle and t
 he ribcage\, sometimes referred to as our high centre. We will trace the p
 athways around this area of the body\, freeing up movement in the shoulder
 s and down the arms. we can also look at getting and offering support usin
 g hooks and fluid transitioning pathways of weight.
