DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of h
 ow the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies 
 in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your
  senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni
 ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita
 tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu
 iring minds.\n\nThe class will be led from 6 - 7.30pm leading into open ja
 m from 7.30pm - 8.15pm. The session runs from 6 to 8:15\, so please be on

 nce Making)\, teaches movement (release\, CI\, improvisation\, composition
  and movement analysis) in HE at the National School of Circus Arts London
 . H2dance\, Tara’ Darquin\, Monsur Ali and Anne-Gaelle Thiriot are artis
 ts she is currently working with as performer\, collaborator and researche
 r.\n\nPicking up on impermanence and change Laura chooses improvisation an
 d CI to trace and train focus that observes change. She initiates collecti
 ve processes that disseminate an embodiment of ideas\, which circle around
  social connectivity and manifest via events that people can participate i
 n and witness. The shedding of boundaries of self and other and the integr
 ation of performance and practice as part of everyday life are reoccurring
  themes. \n\nThe last Sunday of each month will be an open jam from 6 - 8
 :15pm with a live musician.\n\nThese Sunday sessions are run and taught by
  a community of contact dancers. Classes are open to all levels and genera
 lly led by a different teacher each week.\n\nParticipants are responsible 
 for their own safety and wellbeing in the jam. Take care to be alert and s
 ensitive to yourself and others. The organisers cannot accept responsibili
 ty or liability for injury.
