DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of h
 ow the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies 
 in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your
  senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni
 ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita
 tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu
 iring minds.\n\nThe class will be led from 6 - 7.30pm leading into open ja
 m from 7.30pm - 8.15pm. The session runs from 6 to 8:15\, so please be on

 \, we'll research how paying close attention to our feet and their contact
  to the floor facilitates freedom and fun in our CI dances - both solo and
  especially\, in contact with partners.\n\nThe last Sunday of each month w
 ill be an open jam from 6 - 8:15pm with a live musician.\n\nThese Sunday s
 essions are run and taught by a community of contact dancers. Classes are 
 open to all levels and generally led by a different teacher each week.\n\n
 Participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being in the ja
 m. Take care to be alert and sensitive to yourself and others. The organis
