DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of h
 ow the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies 
 in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your
  senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni
 ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita
 tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu
 iring minds.\n\nThe class will be led from 6 - 7.30pm leading into open ja
 m from 7.30pm - 8.15pm.\n\nClass Description\n\nIn the class we will explo
 re all the various ways of working with the centre. Unweighted and weighte
 d\, moving and still\, the centre will become our tool to understand the p
 rinciples of improvised dance we are willingly engaging in.\nThe facilitat
 ion into an open jam will include an authentic movement dance score.\nAll 
 are welcome\, please make sure you are familiar with the Contact Improvisa
 tion Dance guidelines and come awake and ready to play.\n\n\n\nPhoto taken

 nday of each month will be an open jam from 6 - 8:15pm with a live musicia
 n.\n\nThese Sunday sessions are run and taught by a community of contact d
 ancers. Classes are open to all levels and generally led by a different te
 acher each week.\n\nParticipants are responsible for their own safety and 
 wellbeing in the jam. Take care to be alert and sensitive to yourself and
