DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of h
 ow the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies 
 in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your
  senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni
 ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita
 tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu
 iring minds.\n\nThe class will be led from 6 - 7.30pm leading into open ja
 m from 7.30pm - 8.15pm. The whole session runs from 6 - 8:15\, so please c
 ome on time or you may not be able to take part.\n\nTools for jamming 2\n\
 n\nSunday's class will be a continuation of last week. We will explore qua
 lities of moving. Different scores and structures we can play with in solo
 \, duo\, trio\, quartet\, quintet and all the way up to everyone in the wh
 ole room. How to stay present in improvising rather than be stuck in known
  patterns of CI.\n\nThe last Sunday of each month will be an open jam from
  6 - 8:15pm with a live musician.\n\nThese Sunday sessions are run and tau
 ght by a community of contact dancers. Classes are open to all levels and 
 generally led by a different teacher each week.\n\nParticipants are respon
 sible for their own safety and well-being in the jam. Take care to be aler
 t and sensitive to yourself and others. The organisers cannot accept respo
 nsibility or liability for injury.
