DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of h
 ow the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies 
 in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your
  senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni
 ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita
 tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu
 iring minds.\n\nThis is the last Sunday of the month so there will be an o
 pen jam from 6 – 8:15pm with a live musician.\n\nA jam is an informal ga
 thering of dancers. There is no teacher\, but space and time to develop sk
 ills and confidence. You are free to dance\, rest\, or sit and watch\, as 
 you wish. The jam provides an opportunity to explore and integrate techniq
 ues you have learned\, and to find your own routes into dancing.\n\nNo nee

 ity of contact dancers. Classes are open to all levels and generally led b
 y a different teacher each week.\n\nParticipants are responsible for their
