DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is based on the physical exploration of h
 ow the body moves through its own intelligence and how two or more bodies 
 in contact with each other can move together. A dance that fine tunes your
  senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni
 ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita
 tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu
 iring minds.\n\nThe class will be led from 6 - 7.30pm leading into open ja
 m from 7.30pm - 8.15pm.\nClass description\n\n\nAnd where can I rest my ey
 es?\n\nIn a dialogue with light\, eyes are an integral part of our dance. 
 Observing\, noticing\, viewing\, balancing\, looking\, watching - intentio
 nally or receptively. Even closed eyes are part of our dance. So we will g
 ive them a bit of attention\, so we will allow them to rest. So we will ex
 plore how creative can be an act of seeing.\n\nKlara is a dance artist and
  CI teacher. In her practice\, she is deeply dedicated to the practice of 
 listening with all the senses and finding connections with others\, in phy
 sical contact and through the space. She explores both ensemble and contac
 t improvisation tools\, studying the nature of human interactions. Klara i
 s also a researcher\, she obtained her PhD studying collaborations and cre
 ativity in dance through the lenses of cognitive psychology.\n\nThe last S
 unday of each month will be an open jam from 6 - 8:15pm with a live musici
 an.\n\nThese Sunday sessions are run and taught by a community of contact 
 dancers. Classes are open to all levels and generally led by a different t
 eacher each week.\n\nParticipants are responsible for their own safety and
  wellbeing in the jam. Take care to be alert and sensitive to yourself and
