A dance that fine tunes your senses and wakes up your ability to listen and respond to what is happeni ng in the moment. Sometimes wild and athletic\, sometimes quiet and medita tive\, and all levels in between. It is a form open to all bodies and inqu iring minds.\n\nThe class will be led from 6 - 7.30pm leading into open ja m from 7.30pm - 8.15pm.\n\nPatterns and possibilities\n \;\n\nCI class on some basic patterns in CI and exploring how to allow spontaneous movem ent and unexpected movement pathways to happen. Patterns we will visit inc lude\, spirals\, weight sharing\, fear and contraction and upper body bias \, and staying on one level \nClass includes warm up and introduction to j am. \nSam is a CI facilitator and Multi-modal Dance movement Psychotherapi st\n\nThe last Sunday of each month will be an open jam from 6 - 8:15pm wi th a live musician.\n\nThese Sunday sessions are run and taught by a commu nity of contact dancers. Classes are open to all levels and generally led by a different teacher each week.\n\nParticipants are responsible for thei r own safety and wellbeing in the jam.
