10 weeks of Contact Improvisation Fundamentals
With Jamus Wood and Lee Bolton
Starts January 13th 2016
This 10 week Course is an invitation to explore the roots and core exercises of contact improvisation. It will be a course devoted to bringing a sense of practice to our dancing. We will return again and again to a set of core movement inquiries and over time allow these core movements or dancing puzzles to release there potential into our bodies. Each week there will be some of the same and something new to dance with.
We will work hard and play well. As such the last 30 minutes of each class will be devoted to dancing, digesting and playful physics where we will let the teaching and exercises go and dance together.
