DESCRIPTION:\n\nUPDATE: instead of a closed 4-week series\, I am now offeri
 ng two open drop-in classes on Tues 29 March and Tues 12 April: 8-9.30pm.\
 nThese two classes aim to hone our dance improvisation skills as solo and 
 ensemble\, witnessing each other\; through different ways in –\nThese in
 clude spatial tuning of ourselves and each other\, imagination and impulse
 \, body memory\, musicality and rhythm\, voice improvisation in relation t
 o movement\, energetic and tactile awareness with surfaces\, atmospheres a
 nd other humans.\nYou are welcome to book for just one class\, or even bet
 ter\, for both classes! I do recommend joining both classes as it can help
  weave your daily living into our studio explorations\, drop any juicy ins
 ights back into the space\, potentially creating more connection between u
 s dancers.\nLevel: all welcome – everyone who wants to enquire and atten
 d to their body-based skills through space\, and a curiosity to witness ea
 ch other and be witnessed\nCost per drop-in class:\n£12 (£10 concession)

 accessible toilet next to the studio. I aim to create a class where explor
 ations and exercises are adaptable to each individual's pace\, energy\, ch
 oices of movement and encourage a culture of care and empathy for each dan
 cers' individual health and limits. Please get in touch to let me know if

  resourced.\nAbout the teacher Jan-Ming Lee:\nJan-Ming is an artist with a
  background in dance\, music\, theatre\, somatic bodywork\, sociology. She
  has been collaborating in performing arts projects since 2005\, in places
  including China\, UK\, Europe\, Brazil.\nShe has trained with teachers in
 cluding instant composition with Julyen Hamilton\, poetry improvisation wi
 th Billie Hanne\, Action Theater (physical theatre with voice/movement) wi
 th Kate Hilder/Sten Rudstrom\, Axis Syllabus (fascia / functional movement
 ) @ Nomadic College\, Wolfsohn-Hart 'human voice' with Margaret Pikes\, an
 d dancing Contact Improvisation for over 15 years.\nHer performance work w
 hich includes immersive theatre\, participatory installations\, dance thea
 tre and interactive sound performance has been shown at venues including T
