DESCRIPTION:\nThese two open classes aim to hone our dance improvisation sk
 ills as solo and ensemble\, witnessing each other\; through different ways
  in –\nThese include spatial tuning of ourselves and each other\, imagin
 ation and impulse\, body memory\, musicality and rhythm\, voice improvisat
 ion in relation to movement\, energetic and tactile awareness with surface
 s\, atmospheres and other humans.\nThis month's classes info:\n~ We practi
 ce the rituals of enlivening our shared space as a part of ourselves\, tas
 ting the rhythms\, paces\, textures and sensations of a three dimensional 
 web of relating. The space before (English) words fix us\, collaborating t
 ogether to stretch and live in the multiple meanings our bodies speak of\,
  through sharing motifs\, touch\, recoil\, vocalising and co-creating. The
  class is aimed to be open to all to dance together\, supported by felt se
 nses of tactility/sound/vision\, I aim to create space to listen and respe
 ct each others' limits and capacities.\nLevel: all welcome – everyone wh
 o wants to enquire and attend to their body-based skills through space\, a
 nd a curiosity to witness each other and be witnessed\nCost per class:\n£

 dio is accessible on the ground floor and there is an accessible toilet ne
 xt to the studio. I aim to create a class where explorations and exercises
  are adaptable to each individual's limits\, pace\, energy\, choices of mo
 vement and encourage a culture of care and empathy for each dancers' indiv
 idual health and limits.\nAbout the teacher Jan-Ming Lee:\nJan-Ming is an 
 artist with a background in dance\, music\, theatre\, somatic bodywork\, s
 ociology. She has been collaborating in performing arts projects since 200
 5\, in places including China\, UK\, Europe\, Brazil.\nShe has trained wit
 h teachers including instant composition with Julyen Hamilton\, poetry imp
 rovisation with Billie Hanne\, Action Theater (physical theatre with voice
 /movement) with Kate Hilder/Sten Rudstrom\, Axis Syllabus (fascia / functi
 onal movement) @ Nomadic College\, Wolfsohn-Hart 'human voice' with Margar
 et Pikes\, and dancing Contact Improvisation for over 15 years.\nHer perfo
 rmance work which includes immersive theatre\, participatory installations
 \, dance theatre and interactive sound performance has been shown at venue
