DESCRIPTION:Contact Improvisation is a dance of partnering and improvising 
 using touch\, physical/energetic connection\, weight\, space and breath. I
 t can go from quietly meditative to the exuberantly acrobatic\, from using
  little or light touch to sending weight through a partner's body to fly.\
 n\nCourse 1 - Body Paths\nIs an exploration of embodied Anatomy using imag
 es and sensation to invite us into new places and spaces within our contac
 t dance. Each week we will explore a part of the body\, discovering new pa
 thways and body wisdom.\n\nWill Include:\n\n	Exploration of our connection
  to the center.\n	Learning to use the breath as our guide and movement ins
 piration.\n	Taking time to inhabit our early developmental patterns to cre
 ate an effortlessness in our moving.\n	Learning to play with the logic of 
 momentum - lifts\, suspension\, balances\, surrender and falling.\n\nOUR T
 EACHING\n\nEach class will follow a pattern of warm up and arriving\, foll
 owed by technical and developmental movement exercises and then onto a mor
 e open improvisation space to play with what we have learned.\n\nDetails\n
