A day long Contact Improvisation workshop
with Tara Brandel
Saturday 13th December 11am-5pm.
@ ‘The Old Endowed School’
Walkley Hill,
Stroud,
Gloucestershire.
“Focusing on sensation to find new ways into lifts, rides and airborne dancing.
We will build up our responsiveness to and awareness of touch and weight to lead us beyond the mechanics of dancing. Where am I? Where is the dance? How can I respond to the dance now and now and now?
Working with the idea of ‘velcro contact’ we will play with hands free dancing, will free dancing and effort free dancing.
Where does the dance go when I am no longer leading?”
