 rne dancing.\nWe will build up our responsiveness to and awareness of touc
 h and weight to lead us beyond the mechanics of dancing. Where am I? Where
  is the dance? How can I respond to the dance now and now and now?\nWorkin
 g with the idea of 'velcro contact' we will play with hands free dancing\,
  will free dancing and effort free dancing.\nWhere does the dance go when 
 I am no longer leading?"\n\nTara Brandel is a contemporary dancer\, choreo
 grapher and CI teacher\, and currently artistic Director of Croi Glan\, an
  Integrated Dance company in Ireland (croiglan.com).\nShe trained in conte
 mporary dance at the Laban Centre\, and trained in CI with Steve Paxton\, 
 Juleyn Hamilton and Kirstie Simpson. She has danced for Ka Rustler\, Feri 
 de Gues\, Jess Curtis\, and Emilyn Claid\, among others\, and has taught C
 ontact Improvisation at Tanz Fabrik\, Ponderosa\, Seattle Festival of Danc
 e and Improvisation (SFADI)\, West Coast Contact Festival (San Francisco)\
 , GLACIER (USA)\, Liverpool Performing Arts School (LIPA) and Chisenhale D
 ance Space amongst others.\n\nMost recently she has taught contact worksho
 ps in Melbourne\, Sydney and Toronto\, and also teaches ongoing contact cl
