DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5.30-6.30pm followed by 
 the jam 6.45-8.30pm. Dancers can come just for the class\, £5\, or stay f

 s Description\nWe will begin solo\, finding release and tone through the b
 ody\, exploring levels and potential structures as we move and arrive into
  our bodies.  Our partners will then create structures for us to explore\
 , play and climb on - here we can experiment with weight giving\, balance\
 , dis-orientation\, rolling\, extending\, release. Finally we can dance fl
 uidly together\, both partners offering structures and support for one ano
 ther as we explore the limitless possibilites of the contact improvisation
  playground!\n\n\nSuna studied performance and visual arts\, and has subse
 quently trained with many dance practitioners including Helen Poyner\, Mir
 anda Tufnell\, and Andrea Olsen.  Her passion for contact improvisation h
 as been informed by working with practitioners such as Nitta Little\, Luci
 a Walker and Karen Nelson.  In 2012 she undertook intensive training with
  Nancy Stark Smith and subsequently runs bi-weekly jams and workshops in C
 ontact Improvisation in Hampshire.  Suna teaches improvisation and site s
 pecific performance at The University of Winchester and is a self employed
  dance practitioner.
