DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5.30-6.30pm followed by 
 the jam 6.45-8.30pm. Dancers can come just for the class\, £5\, or stay f

 s Description\nMyriad Shades of Touch\nThis class will be about listening 
 with your skin\; speaking through your body\; negotiating boundaries\; dif
 ferentiating qualities of touch\; altering the „map of the body“\; cre
 ating new meanings for touch\, movement\, gesture. To this end\, we will r
 efine our perception of inner space and body rhythms\, as well as our oute
 r sensory/spatial awareness. We will focus on working with the basic princ
 iples of contact improvisation. We’ll also look at ways of combining con
 tact improvisation and bodywork.
