 our Contact Improvisation workshop all about Under and Over dancing\nSunda
 y 3rd of Nov\, 12-5pm - Bristol\n\nWhat do we need to move from a static b
 ack and forth dance\, to a more active\nsupport of our partners movement? 
 In our research we have been particularly interested in reversing stereoty
 pical roles and exploring what Sole’s smaller structure needs to lift Ma
 rk’s bigger structure. This has helped us to focus on particular princip
 les and fundamentals of being both under and over dancers. We will start g
 ently\, using experiential anatomy and early developmental movement patter
 ns based on Body-Mind Centering®\, to then explore how we can free up our
  weight sharing into a more dynamic dance. Pivoting\, reaching\, pushing a
 nd dancing our way into three dimensionality...\n\nThis workshop is open t
 o all levels. You can expect a mixture of somatic explorations\, technical
  labbing and open dance scores. Please contact us if you have any access n

 act Festival\, Acland Burghley). She trained as a professional dancer\, an
 d has worked extensively in opera\, immersive dance projects\, and screen.
  Alongside performing and Contact Improvisation Sole is a Yoga instructor 
 and Thai Massage practitioner\n\nMark Rietema teaches Somatics and CI in 
 London and abroad. He also works as a psychotherapist\nand somatic movemen
 t educator\, having studied Process Oriented Psychology and Body-\nMind Ce
 ntering®. His previous background is in community arts projects and\nperf
 ormances (UK\, US) with an MA in Community Arts from Goldsmiths. He teache
 s as\nfaculty for Embody Move UK\, Institut Prozessarbeit Deutschland\, an
 d as a guest teacher in various institutions.
