DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5.30-6.30pm followed by 
 the jam 6.45-8.30pm. Dancers can come just for the class\, £5\, or stay f

 s Description\nIn this class\, we will see\, feel\, imagine and touch the 
 space of our dance: considering the general space around us\, the space be
 tween 2 or more dancers and the internal space of our body\, we will get f
 low to circulate between body and mind systems and connect myriads of cent
 res to myriads of peripheries. Please note\, you don't need to like geomet
 ry to enjoy it...\n\nAnne-Gaëlle Thiriot\nAnne-Gaëlle grew up in Burgund
 y\, France. She started getting involved in dance and performance in 1999 
 while studying Geology in Jussieu (Paris). She went on getting an MA in Mo
 vement Education in Bologna\, Italy. She worked as a movement therapist an
 d a dance teacher alongside her studies of contemporary techniques\, Insta
 nt composition\, yoga and Body Mind Centering in Paris\, Italy\, Israel an
 d the UK. She met Contact Improvisation through the work of Didier Silhol\
 , Kirstie Simson and Mark Tompkins in 2001\, and she kept studying with th
 em and Lisa Nelson\, Simone Forti\, Julyen Hamilton\, KJ Holmes\, among ot
 hers. Graduated from Laban in 2008\, she is currently finishing a 3y. spec
 ialist programme in Choreological Studies there. She is interested in the 
 way we embody dynamic\, relationship\, spatial and social structures and h
 ow we develop our sense of empathy through movement awareness. As an impro
 viser and dancer\, she has worked with H2Dance\, Giannalberto De Filippis 
 and Michal Mualem (Sasha Waltz and Guests)\, Joe Moran\, Plan B\, Tadam/No
 a Zamir\, and she regularly teaches for City Lit and Candoco. Currently ba
