DESCRIPTION:Beginner friendly pre-jam warmup class 5.30-6.30pm followed by 
 the jam 6.45-8.30pm. Dancers can come just for the class\, £5\, or stay f

 s Description\nA few weeks ago I had the privilege of attending a week-lon
 g lab with internationally known teachers Joerg Hassman &amp\; Jaqui Wan\,
  working on how to combine Contact Improvisation principles with Acroyoga.
  In this class I’d like to share an exercise where acro-base &amp\; flye
 r work with eyes closed and one or two active supporters to find ways to i
 mprovise freely with positions for taking weight that aren’t often used 
 in CI. I’m interested to see how these possibilities can get taken into 
 the jam afterwards.\n\nJenny Moy: What I love about Contact Improvisation 
 is that there’s no syllabus\, no standard way to learn\, no qualified te
 achers. The lab format celebrates that – dancers coming together to shar
 e\, experiment and review: all teachers\, all learners. London currently h
 as a weekly labbing group\, exploring themes like mixing Contact with Auth
 entic movement or Acroyoga. I’d like to make a link between the London l
 ab and Bristol: sharing some of our ideas and exercises and taking back mo
 re questions and discoveries.
