DESCRIPTION:\nWho Are You Dancing With?\nVisible and invisible Forces and R
 elationships in CI\nWhat are some of the ways that we can more fully inhab
 it the shared experience of dancing CI?\nDay workshop - 7 hours of teachin
 g time\n\nWhat are some of the ways that we can more fully inhabit the sha
 red experience of dancing CI?\nHow can you bring more of who you are into 
 your dancing?\n\nIn this workshop we’ll employ the vocabulary of Contact
  Improvisation to explore ways towards deepening and expanding our relatio
 nship with ourselves and with others as we dance.\n\nAlongside the physica
 l practice of dancing CI\, the workshop will offer ways to bring less visi
 ble aspects of yourself into your dancing which can offer a richness of de
 pth\, nuance\, range and integration both internally and externally.\nThe 
 workshop will address aspects that are personal to you and how these perso
 nal aspects interface with the vocabulary and form of CI.\n\nWe’ll pract
 ice and explore the dialogue and play between the micro and the macro\, th
 e personal and the shared and the exchange that happens between them on a 
 moment to moment basis.\nThe workshop will offer you practices to remain p
 resent on many levels in your dancing of CI to help you resource aspects o
 f yourself that you may not normally access while you dance.\nThis include
 s exploring and integrating your vision\, hearing\, sensation and movement
 \, and applying this practice to your dancing of CI.\n\nFrom here you can 
 access specificity\, focus\, range/expansion and a deeper relationship to 
 the environment\, which can bring support to your body and emotional senti
 ence and colour to your dancing.\n\nJuliet Shelley is a dancer\, choreogra
 pher and performer currently residing in Paris\, France. She studied dance
  professionally at the Laban Centre\, London and at the Centre for New Dan
 ce Development in Amsterdam. Alongside her performance work\, she has been
  dancing and teaching Contact Improvisation for most of her adult life. He
 r teachers include Nancy Stark Smith\, Steve Paxton\, Katie Duck\, Julyen 
 Hamilton\, Kirstie Simson\, Chris Aiken and Martin Keogh. She has taught c
 lasses and workshops in the UK\, France\, Netherlands\, Italy\, USA\, Mala
 ysia\, New Zealand and Australia. She also teaches classes in Pilates and
