The Body Parts Series
A collection of contact improvisation classes exploring movement through different parts of the body
In this series we will use a variety of: body work, hands on investigations, somatic movement, limited scores, body puzzle and movement biased activities to develop a better understanding of fundamental CI-skills. We will look at: active listening, rolling, pushing, sliding, spirals, sharing weight, staying mobile, getting support form the floor, communication through touch and flying through the lens of specific body parts.
Open to all levels.
This will be a good foundation for beginners, as well as providing space for deeper investigation for more experienced movers. Classes can be attended individually, however there will be some progression in the material so it is recommended to complete the course ( 8 Weeks )
Bring your questions, curiosity welcome and encouraged.
