Hey all, we’re excited to launch a new 6-week course for LGBTQI+ folks with some experience of Contact Improvisation who want to deepen their practice in a queer-led, supportive space.
Whether you’ve joined one of our beginner courses or have been dancing CI for a while, this course is an invitation to refine your skills, explore new techniques, and move in connection with queer community.
Contact Improvisation is a playful, dynamic dance form rooted in touch, shared weight, listening, and embodied awareness.
Together we’ll explore safe risk, responsiveness, and new possibilities for movement and connection.
Facilitated by experienced CI practitioners Ania Varez (they/them) and Rhiannon Colvin (she/they), the course will build on core CI principles while offering space to develop and play.
