Contact Improvisation is a dance of partnering and improvising using touch, physical/energetic connection, weight, space and breath. It can go from quietly meditative to the exuberantly acrobatic, from using little or light touch to sending weight through a partner’s body to fly.

7 WEEK CI FUNDAMENTALS COURSE
Starts January 28th
These classes are open to those new to Contact Improvisation and dancers who want to improve their skills. All classes bring in elements of the fundamentals to CI and movement as we see them. Great for learning Contact but equally as valuable for dancers of any form.
Will also Include:
Exploration of our connection to the center.
Learning to use the breath as our guide and movement inspiration.
Taking time to inhabit our early developmental movement patterns to create an effortlessness in our moving.
