A Solo
Dancer: Kirstie Simson

Kirstie Simson will be sharing her passion for the exploration of freedom through the solo she will present in this evening of dance improvisation.

Through the use of humour, eye contact, dialogue and proximity, the performer invites the audience to join her on a journey as she negotiates her way through present moment decision-making that is inherent in improvised performances. With light-hearted spontaneity this master performer affirms the fundamental positivity of life as she dances her way through this forty-five minute work, celebrating the depth of human connection and potentiality.

The performance will be followed by a short question and answer session with the artist

This solo is dedicated to my mother Jean, who encouraged me to pursue my passion for dance.
