This series will be split into two types of classes; ‘Moving inwards’ and ‘Moving outwards’ running in alternative weeks.
MOVING INWARD CLASSES:
Theses classes are an invitation to slow down and arrive in the body, shifting the focus from doing to being in motion. By tuning into subtle physical sensations, we will explore movement quality like melting and nesting, learning to yield weight with ease and soften into the spaces around us. Through deep somatic listening, the dance will become a quiet relational exploration, where every point of contact is a conversation. It is a process of discovery allowing the body to lead and the movement to unfold.
MOVING OUTWARDS CLASSES
This class is a high energy dive into the mechanics of flight and the physics of the body in motion . We move beyond the subtle to engage with momentum and dynamics using the floor as a launch pad for locomotion and rolls that travel across the room. The focus is here on form and technique, building the tonality and structural integrity needed to navigate inversions and effortless lifts, it is a deeply physical practice where we learn to channel force and weight, transforming technical prescion into a fluid athletic dance.
In CI these concepts work togther with each other, but we present them separately in order to dive deeper into each one. Even though inwards and outwards can never truly be seperated.

Two discounted rates are available for helpers, who would normally face a financial barrier for attendance. Helpers would be required to attend 100% of the classes / jams.
