About the teachers:
Jan-Ming has been dancing and holding spaces for contact improvisation for over 15 years and is passionate about the exquisitely powerful and completely ordinary practice that it can be to collectively bring us into a dancing conversation together, respecting our differences through curiosity, courage and care. She has a background in performance in dance, music, physical theatre, voicework and is also a practicing somatic bodyworker in The Pantarei Approach.

Claire Coveney and Jan-Ming Lee have been dancing-tumbling-uplifting-flipping-jamming together and finding what are the things that keep us curious and playful in our dances, while rooting in our integrity…we have been collecting our rituals of how to be in all the gaps inside of a contact jam, especially inspired by our practices of the Underscore and our training in somatic practices such as Alexander Technique, bodywork, qigong and fascia-movement study.
